Shahrisabz (means “Green city”) formerly called Kesh or Kish. The city is located in South-East of Uzbekistan and it is considered one of Central Asia’s most ancient cities. Shahrisabz is the birthplace of Amir Temur (Tamerlane). Timur called Shahrisabz as his “home town”. UNESCO has placed the ancient city of Shakhrisabz on the list of world heritage memorials, a city which has remarkable mark on world civilization. Not long ago, the city has celebrated its’ 2700th anniversary of the establishment.
