Andijan

Andijan is one of the oldest cities in the Fergana Valley. The city’s history dates back to the 7th and 8th centuries. Historically, Andijan was an important city on the Great Silk Road. Now the city is more well-known as the birthplace of Babur who founder of Mughal dynasty in India and recognized as first Mughal emperor.
From many aspects, today Andijan can be called industrial city in Uzbekistan. The city has become engineering industry by hosting many major companies like automobile production plant and many more.
