Deciding to arrange my 10-day tour with uzbhotels.com was one of the best decisions I made. From the beginning, Suleyman and his team were extremely professional and helpful in every aspect of planning the perfect trip. They helped arrange my visa, and also made suggestions to create an itinerary tailored to my interests. Suleyman was quick to answer all my questions, no matter how trivial, and it made me feel like I was traveling with family. All the arrangements were of high standard and there were no hiccups at any point. The entire team went out of their way to make me feel welcome in this beautiful country. Uzbekistan is a stunning country no matter how you visit her, but knowing that someone was always there to help me with anything made this trip even more memorable. Thank you to your entire team!

Where can I start the best... I had booked a trip to Uzbekistan. Via Suleyman Kurbanov I did not really have high expectations of my tour and vacation. But the tour is beyond my expectations! Everything from A to Z was well organized. Suleyman is a very friendly and trustworthy person. He called me almost every day to make sure everything is how i wanted, and to know if he can do something extra. I have seen many countries and traveled a lot, but Uzbekistan has to be my favorite country. Especially the people and the nature is fantastic.
Thanks again for everything Suleyman and the rest of the team.

Lot of love,

We are Paula and Marcelo from Argentina. Our 15 days tour has been truly great. On January 2016 we started contacting Mr. Suleyman Kurbanov for the organization of all the details concerning our touring programme and visas. We noticed he was a very kind, responsible and efficient person, so we felt very confident. From the very moment we arrived in Tashkent from Rome on March 10, we were treated with great respect, kindness and professionalism. The hotels we stayed in were all excelent: Lotte City Hotel Tashkent Palace, Hotel Grand Samarkand Superior, Devon Begi Hotel in Bukhara and Asia Khiva. Drivers and guides (Spanish and English speaking) were excellent as well as the restaurants where we were drived to for dinners.

We would suggest offering maps of Uzbekistan aswell as of each city to the tourists.

A great part of the route from Bukhara to Khiva is in bad conditions. Also, as you stop for toilet there, you will find not very clean latrines. But, of course the agency is not to be blamed for this!

On the contrary, we loved Uzbekistan and Suleyman's organization! We highly recommend his travel agency and wish all his tourists a great time in a great country!

I am from Saudi Arabia, and i was visiting Uzbekistan last Feb., i really enjoyed the tour that has been organized by Suleyman, everything was very well planned, and i really appreciate the professionalism and care Suleyman has offered as well as their generosity in adding to my trip in every aspect. I had a special request to visit textile and carpets markets as well as antiques, and they were very helpful and knowledgable.
I would definately recommend this agency to everyone who is interested in visiting Uzbekistan.

"We, four friends from Canada, traveled to Uzbekistan for a week last fall. Mr. Suleyman Kurbanov from the Rest and Travel Company based in Tashkent made all our travel arrangements. We found Suleyman to be very efficient in responding to communications promptly and found him to be an organized person. We were very happy with the entire tour he organized for us. We were very well taken care of in all aspects. The English speaking guides in Samarkand as well as in Bukhara were very friendly and knowledgeable in the history of the country as well as about the monuments we visited. In fact Irene, our guide in Bukhara, went out of her way to take one of our colleagues who needed medical treatment to the hospital late in the evening although she had a little child waiting for her at home. We were also happy with the transportation provided to us. The accommodation at Gand Samarkand Superior hotel in Samarkand was very nice, however we would have preferred better accommodation in Bukhara and Khiva than what was provided to us. All in all we had an excellent time touring around Uzbekistan thanks to Suleyman. We would certainly recommend this travel agency to all our friends.”

We did enjoy our tour. On the last day our guide asked us to write down some feed back and I didn't get around to it.
The guides and drivers were all good. We liked having the local guides as they added their own local perspective.
Things that would make the trip even better would be
1. A small map of each city with the hotel location marked on it even if only printed out of google maps.
2. A small list of local restaurants to give a guide. We didn't want our evening meal to be organised as we like to wonder around a city but a short suggestion list would be good.
3. A list of tips about Uzbekistan would be helpful as well such as why you need to keep the Hotel registration cards, that you need to fill out yet another customs card at the airport, that if you want to post something home you might need a certificate from some ministry to accompany it, wether tipping at meal times is a custom or not etc.

The only thing that needs to be looked at is the Hotel in Khiva, plumbing a bit smelly and toilet not well attached and breakfast can only be described as poor where as every where else was good and we particulary enjoyed to 2 small hotels in Samarakand and Bukahara
Will recommend your services and I think you do work in India so you may see us in the future
Thanks again
Annette

I write to you to describe a very bad experience, I had in Tashkent Tuesday the 29. october.

I am the old Danish teacher from Denmark, you helped ( together with my friend, Joergen Nielsen ) to get invitations and visa to Uzbekistan.

We came to Tashkent Airport the 2. october. First the passport policeman in the airport made my friend, Joergens visa in his passport. He had applied for a singel-entry visa for 19 days. Then he made my visa. But he made a mistake ! He supposed, I had applied for precisely the same visa, and therefore he also made my visa for 19 days and singel entry. But Joergen and I had the plan to travel together for 2 weeks, and then he went back to Denmark, while I continued travelling in Uzbekistan for another 2 weeks. Therefore he also made my visa for 19 days and singel entry. But I had applied for 29 days visa and 3-entry. At once I said to him, the mistake, he had made. He talked to some other policemen about the case, and then with a pen he changed in my passport in the visa from 19 days to 29 days and singel entry to 3-enty.
Many times during my stay in Uzbekistan the police had checked my passport, and never they had complaint about this visa.

Then monday the 28. october I took the train from Samarkand to Tashkent. I had the plan to take the metro to Chorsu Bazaar to buy some souveniers, - and then in the evening take bus number 11 or 76 to the airport, - and take my Aeroflot plane to Moscow 4.30.
I came to Tashkent Railway station 15.40. Then I walked to the metro station to take the metro to the Chorsu Bazaar metro station. At the Tashkent Metro station 2 police-men with green uniforms stopped me to check. It was O.K. and normal. I had tried it before. But this time the 2 police-men took me to a room and asked me about the visa. I explained everything for them. Also I showed them my registration paper from my hotel in Samarkand. There was one friendly policeman, who understood little English. He said to me : " No problem, - just 5 minutes !" Some other policemen came, maybe superior policemen, and also a young man, who had not a uniform. After ½ hour they took me in a police-car to a police-station. All in all they took me to 6 different police stations ! Once , when they took me out of a policecar, my trousers were torn ! Once they took me to a police-station, which had something to do about visas. ( Now it was dark, - but I think, it was just opposite the Senate ! ) At last there came a female police-lady in green uniform. She spoke English, and I explained everything for her. She understood it, and she explained it for the 4 policemen. She was very friendly and kind to me, and she gave me my passport and said : " No problems for you", - and that I could go. I thanked her and said good bye, and asked her about the way to the nearest metro station. It was outside the police-station. Then she returned into the house. Then another policeman, who were friendly to me and spoke 20 Words English, said to me : " Just wait 5 minutes. The 3 other policemen discuse the situation. But then the policemen arrested me once more ! Once we came to a police-station, where there was a superior police-mam without a uniform. He spoke Little English, and he ordered his secretary to give me tea and cakes and biscuits. It was nice for me, because after 3 hours in the custody of the police I was hungry and thirsty ! There the policemen saw all my regristrations for all the hotels, I had slept the 4 weeks in Uzbekistan. This superior policeman also understood about the visa, and told the other policemen about it, - once more explained it for them. And then he said to me : "No problem", - and he gave me my passport. But once more, when the superior policeman had gone, the other policemen took my passport. Then once more they drove me back to the police-station, which knew about the visa ( opposite the Senate ). There another police-lady, who could not speak English, once more explained to the police-men about the visa. But anyway, they would not let me go. They drove me to another police-station far away. Then suddenly the police-man, who were friedly to me, and spoke Little English, were gone. The police-car staied there with me on the backseat, and 2 policemen on the front seat for 1 hour. Now I was very afraid. I said to the 2 police-men : "Please drive me to the airport. I have to go to Dania with airplane tonight." But they just laughed derisively of me, and said ( I guess ? ) ( in uzbekish language ) : "Here now no one can translate for you." I also said . "Please, I have to go to the toilet" The most evil police-man went out of the police-car, and walked around the trees outside, and then he came back to the car, and said : there is no toilet here. After some time the police-man, who were driver of the police-car, took me in to the police-station, where I was allowed to go to toilet. There was a young police-man guarding, and when I passed him on the way out, it cried to him : " Please, help me- help me - help me." I was so afraid ! After 1 hour sitting in the police-car, they drove me to the airport. There on the parking ground we met a man, who was not in uniform. He said to me there : " Your passport is only for 5 or 10 days." I answered : "No, it is for 29 days, and 3-entry. I paid 90 dollars for it." He and me and the 2 policemen went inside the airport, - and we went into his office on 2. floor. On the door was written : "Office for foreign affairs". We were there for 1 more hour. He copied many papers, - he checked his computer, - he asked the 2 policemen, especialle the most evil, a thin and tall man. And I think, he got the names and adresses of the 2 policemen, and wrote it in his report. After ½ hour the 2 policemen left the room. When the evil policeman passed me ( I was sitting on a chair ), he said loudly to me : "I am very sorry". I said : "O.K. ( but I did not mean it : I meant, he instead not should have hold me in custody 5½ hour, and treated me badly, and that he never more should treat an innocent tourist like that ). The kindly man ( with a moustace ) from the foreign office guided me to the waiting room in the airport, and said carefully to me : "No exit airport". ( He had no need to tell me this, because off course I was so frightened, that I would never leave the airport, and once more risk to be treated so badly from the police one more time. No, I felt a little more safe in the airport. 3 hours later the man from the foreign office came to me in the waiting room, and said "Hello, mr. Ole". He had with him a translater. We went to a table, and they asked me to write about, what happened in the airport the 2. october with the passport police, - about the mistake, they made with my visa. Also I had to write about, why I did not use my 3-enty visa 3 times ( it was, bacause Turkmenistan and Tajikistan would not give me transit-visa at the border ! ) But they did not ask me to write about my bad experience with the police in Tashkent this night the 28. october ! So therefore I did not wrote about this. Also at this time I was still afraid and paranoid !! I wrote 2 pages. So they said thank you and good bye.
In all , I was in the custody of the police 5½ hours, - from 15.40 to 21.30 !!!
As I have written here, there were some police, who were kind to me, and tried to help me. But many policemen did bad things to me. My trousers were torn. Especially the thin tall policeman treated me very badly. I am almost sure, his name is in the report , the man from the fioreign office wrote !
I am an ordinary tourist from Denmark. I used to be a teacher. Now I am retired. I am an old man. I am 68 years old. I find, it was very bad to treat me badly like I have described. I think also, it is very bad for Uzbekistan and the reputation of Uzbekistan, some policemen treats tourist like this. It can destroy the tourist industry in Uzbekistan.
I hereby ask you to tell the police in Tashkent, and specially this evil thin and tall policeman, who treated me most badly, that they should never do like this towards a foreign tourist.

Friendly greetings
from Ole Balslev
